This is my meta-blog for experimenting with WordPress.com. Posts of mine from many other blogs have been imported here (directly or indirectly) – there is probably some duplication, and posts may be found at their original homes. Since I’m working (among other things) on blog and web archiving projects, some of these issues may get resolved in due course. Or not.

My early blogging experiments were of the occasional-outburst-of-self-important-excessive-thinking kind, but I think things settled down to mostly reflect my various online interests, directly or indirectly related to the Web, digital archives and e-learning. My first blog was on pre-Google Blogger, then later using self-hosted WordPress, as well as some new experiments with Google-Blogger. In the last couple of years, I have also contributed to several work-related blogs. Posts from all these blogs have been imported here. Importing some of the older posts by various means between platforms, I have encountered many typical issues: line endings, character sets, missing images. Imp/ex tools seem much more robust now, so I may use this blog to clean things up, then re-export. Or not.

I could even import my Tweets. Or not.
